Katherine and Brent’s wedding at Maplehurst Farm in Skagit Valley was an absolute dream! It was equal parts romantic fairytale and laid-back good time. Katherine is incredibly crafty, and she put so much work into all of the details and decor. It was GORGEOUS! My favorite design detail was a floral garland on a giant old-growth oak tree at the cocktail area. It even included “B” and “K” wooden letters to look like hand carved initials. So sweet! All of the details fit in so perfectly with the rustic aesthetic of the farm. Maplehurst Farm is beautiful with so many amazing spots to take photos! Right before sunset, we snuck out of the reception for a few minutes to grab some shots in during the most magical light of the day. When I first met Brent and Katherine, they said they love candid images (Of course, hearing that absolutely made my heart sing!), so we made the most amazing, genuine images of them in the prettiest of light – pretty much my dream!
