Corson Building Wedding | Seattle

January 23, 2023

Amy and Darren are both professional photographers – She’s a Seattle wedding photographer, and he’s a commercial photographer. So you can probably imagine what an incredible honor it was for me to be asked to photograph their wedding!! For their Corson Building wedding, they chose to forgo many of the standard wedding traditions. Instead, they created an intimate dinner party atmosphere focusing on meaningful moments and incredible food. It was perfect!

An Intimate Dinner Party Wedding

An Intentional and Personalized Event

This is one of my absolute favorite things I’ve ever seen at a wedding – Before the wedding, Amy and Darren took the time to handwrite letters to each and every guest (and vendor!). The guests received their letters on their way in and had the opportunity to read them while Amy and Darren were tucked away privately exchanging their vows before the ceremony. It was so beautiful to witness their family and friends quietly read words of gratitude from the couple. I also loved how these letters served as great ice breakers amongst the guests as they shared with each other what was written on their cards.

Exchanging vows privately before the ceremony is another one of my favorite things! Amy and Darren were intentional about setting aside time to be alone together to share vows on their wedding day. They were able to connect and feel grounded before being greeted by all of their favorite people!

Why A Corson Building Wedding?

The couple’s top priorities were to have a food-focused event, to keep it small and intimate, and to bring Toby their dog! The Corson Building made it easy to check all of those boxes! Check out this post for more info about having a wedding at The Corson Building.

Assembling the Perfect Vendor Team for a Corson Building Wedding

Since Amy and Darren know the Seattle wedding industry well, they carefully curated a vendor dream team that was an absolute joy to work with! If you’re wedding planning, take note! These folks are the best of the best!

Kind Words From the Couple

“It’s not even possible to fully articulate how incredible Cameron is. She’s an expert in all areas of wedding photography and truly gives 1000% all the time from the start of planning to the minute she’s delivered your gallery of images. I’m a wedding photographer myself and my now-husband is a commercial photographer; right from the start of knowing and working with Cameron, I knew she was the one who would completely allow us to take off our photographer hates and strictly be her ‘couple.’ She is kind. She is honest. She is so insanely talented. She will always guide you in the right direction to get to the ultimate end goal of creating beautiful imagery! She was also an incredible teammate to the other wedding pros we hired. Every single image we received from Cameron is incredible. There were moments she captured that I didn’t even know she was there for and having those moments forever in an image brought tears to my eyes! HIRE CAMERON! We love you, Cameron!”
