I’m so excited to share Megan and Tim’s engagement session on San Juan Island! I was up in the islands over Labor Day weekend to photograph a wedding on Orcas Island, so the following day, I popped over to San Juan Island to meet up with these two awesome people.

I can’t think of a more fitting setting for their engagement session than on their sailboat and favorite sunset spot in the San Juan Islands. Megan and Tim love adventures both big and small. They’ve been to 55 countries between the two of them (including Antarctica!), and they met SCUBA diving (how cool is that?!)! They both work as ecologists inspiring and education people about the natural world, and love getting out on the water whenever they can.

We had so much fun out on the boat and enjoying a sunny evening on the island. Also, I have to give a shout out to my boyfriend, Adam, who sailed the boat so these two could pose for photos without having to worry about sailing at the same time!

Megan and Tim, I absolutely can’t wait to head back up to San Juan Island for your wedding in May!
