I was so honored when Ana, a local Seattle wedding photographer, asked me to photograph the birth of her daughter, Mia. I love working with other photographers! Ana and I photographed weddings together and became good friends in the process. The best word to describe her birth would be “joyful!” Even while laboring so hard, Ana smiled and laughed through it all! At 3am, baby Mia arrived wailing into Mama’s outstretched arms! I returned to Northwest Hospital’s Childbirth Center the following day to capture Mia’s introduction to her brother and her grandparents. There was so much love and happiness in that room!
